Figure out what "your thing" is and use it. The person that is trying to hire you is probably trying to fill an empty position and that means that he or she is probably completely frazzled. The easier you make that person's job, the more likely it is that you are going to get the position that you want.
1 No bleach is gentle. If you do what you are talking about, at best your hair will be dry as straw and break off. At worse, it will fall out. It's also going to be a very odd color.
Let it grow out as long as you can, and then go and have a professional cut and color. And congrats on getting hubby home - and thank him for his sacrifices to protect us, ok? And thank you, too.
2 Honey, go to a professional to get it done. When a man comes home from Iraq, he is NOT thinking about the color of your hair. He won't notice your hair till he has been home a few weeks. My husband didn't even notice my hair till he had been back 2 months.
Hugs to you and your husband. I know how tough it is, been there done that.
Its always much easier on the hair to Darken then to lighten. You DO NOT need peroxide or chemicals to darken(deposit color) but you need BOTH to Lighten(lift) and because you have a reddish brown(which you didn't state the depth of the reddish brown..is it light, medium or really dark) If your natural shade is black...(like mine) and you go "blond" like I did for 12 years, you will have to "touch up" your roots every 10 days if you do not want black roots..also please REMEMBER..BLEACH IS FOREVER! Until it grows out & is cut off...its very hard to cover, and no matter what color you use on top of it, it will bleed thru after 10 shampoo's....it can be a real nightmare if youi change your mind.
You will HAVE TO USE bleach because of the red.....red has a tendency to turn pinkish...plus your natural shade is black, if you want it to get to blond..bleach is the only way. This may be a little too complicated. I would go to a colorist NOT a hair stylist..but someone who ONLY does color....Red hair can be nasty, it is VERY difficult to get red out of the hair......I was red for years too...your hair will most likely have to be bleached to a very light stage, then toned to the color of blond you wish, but please NO those black roots will folor you what ever color you choose that is lighten then your natural shade, and the lighter the hair, the more they show....being UN NATURALLY Blond..is VERY high maintence if you want it to look good.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
