If it is community service; I would go- You did not mention the circumstance that brought you to the community service employer in the first place. I am guessing (and don't be offended as I may be wrong) that some court or law enforcement agency has asked that you do a certain # of hours service in exchange for a reduced sentance, no jail time, or as part of a plea. If this is the case, and your paperwork says you must report, you had better go or be charged with contempt of court.

Without more clarification from you such as- ~ do you work; if not, there's no reason not to go and just get it over with ~ if you do work, tell them you have a job and make arrangements to come before or after work or on days off. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
