No, but a glass ionomer filling will get you closer than other filling materials would There are several kinds of material they can use to fill a cavity. I've had nearly everything on one tooth or another. The advantage of the glass ionomer fillings is that they slowly emit fluoride into the inside of your tooth.
Natural tooth material also has small pores through which healthy minerals flow. All other tooth filling materials that I know of are passive and do not allow this kind of natural flow. Glass ionomer isn't the same as natural tooth material and (as far as I know) doesn't have those small pores.
But it does seem to be closer to what the natural tooth material does then other materials such as composite, porcelain (inlays), or amalgam (heaven forbid! ). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass_ionomer_cement" rel="nofollow">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass_ionomer_cement (Note: I do not work in the dental industry and I have no connection whatsoever to whoever sells the glass ionomer filling material.) No dental cavities can't be reversed. If decay has taken place, then dental filling is required to restore the tooth. In case of dental cavities, decayed portion of tooth is removed and dental filling is done.
If just demineralization of tooth structure is there, then fluoride application or rinses can be done to remineralize the tooth structure but in case of decay, filling is required. For more info on dental caries, refer to... identalhub.com/article_causes-and-sympto... aspx.
1 Uh...no. Cavities are holes in your teeth. They can, however, be filled.
Your best bet is to brush and floss 2x a day at the least and see your dentist regularly.

2 Nope. Once the hole is there, it's there.
3 Not yet. There has been some research into ways to regrow damaged teeth, but apparently it hasn't reached the commercial expoitation stage. Maybe someday...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
