Yes, as long as the Superior chooses to "listen." There is no particular modifier except for the Superior's new invocation rituals. Usually the former Superior continues to listen to recruit old followers or destroy the traitorous.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
