Yes,Green Iguanas eat a number of different things in the wild and the ficus(fig) is one of them. My green iguanas loved to eat Hibscus flowers. They would destroy them they were their absolute fav food.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
