Yes... The MacBook (MB) charger has an output reading of 16.5V - 3.65A. On your MacBook Pro (MBP) charger there should be an output reading of both 18.5V - 4.6A and 16.5V - 3.65A. So using the MBP charger on the MB will work sense it has the same rating as the standard MB charger.Be sure to confirm this on your MBP charger first though.

Yes The MacBook Pro uses an 85 watt power adapter that will automatically go down to a 60w to support the MacBook. There is no switch on it or anything, it’ll just automatically sense the difference and use the 60w setting. You can probably use a MacBook adapter to charge a MBP also, I’ve read reports of it working but charging the battery a little more slowly, but I really wouldn’t recommend it.

The MBP requires more power for a reason and I wouldn’t personally want to risk using the lower power adapter on it.
