Can I enroll in ASU for college if I attended a charter school in high school?

Technically you cannot be matriculated in ASU while still attending a charter high school. All colleges and universities require their students to already possess a high school diploma to ensure basic educational competencies prior to engaging in university level work according to the Dean of Academic Affairs at ASU. However, that does not mean that a student cannot take college level courses, while still attending a charter high school. In fact, many students enroll in college level courses at nearby community colleges as non-matriculated students, while completing their high school education.

The same holds true for ASU. By doing so, students find they can get a jump start on the college academics earlier and get some of the basic courses like College Math and Freshman Composition out of the way. Talk to the ASU advisement department and the registrar’s department about enrolling as a non-matriculation student and take basic level courses that will be needed for any major such as Math or Composition.
