I think the easiest languages for English speakers to learn are related to English. In other words similar to German, or French. Russian, and other slovic languages, seem like they might be distant cousins.
Beyond that, I think you are into languages that have completely different histories, and they will all be more difficult, in some way.
Umm...well from my experience so far and what I would guess on some of these, I'd have to say...(from easiest to hardest)1. Spanish2. Tagalog3.
Italian4. German5. Russian6.
Vietnamese7. ChineseThose are the only languages I have been around and attempted myself.
I don't have a list, but German has a lot of similarities to English.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
