Can I install on the same computer a partition with Microsoft OS Vista and a partition with the Apple OS?

HELLO, I wish to know if it is possible to have instlled and to use on the same PC ( originally it is a Windows Vista system PC ) on one partition the original Microsoft OS Vista and the usual Word,Excel Power Point etc...and on a different partition the Apple software with the Apple equivalents of Word,Excel Power Point. Why? Why not!

Has anyone tried it (and survived? ) ( and the PC?)This is a serious question, Thanks in advance. Asked by BDO 26 months ago Similar questions: install computer partition Microsoft OS Vista Apple Computers > Software.

Yes, but unless you are highly skilled you need a mac to do it. The best way to do this is with an intel mac. They come set up so you can do this with a program called "Boot Camp," i’m typing on a mac that has dual boot option of snow leopard, or windows 7 -it is so easy to set this up that even someone with barely any computer experience can do it.

You cannot do it with a PC without hacking the MAC OS, which is tecnically a violation of their license agreement and is a pain in the ass unless you really know what you’re doing. You'd need a hacked version of the MAC OS and finding drivers would be difficult. There are certain models of computers that the "hackentosh" community may have drivers for, but if you want a computer that you can use without trouble and aren;t someone who likes to endlessly tweak things I'd advise against trying.

2 You can't run Mac Os on a PC. You can run Windows on a Mac, however. There is a utility called Boot Camp that allows you to install Vista. It's part of Mac OS.

Babalooga65 replied to post #2: 3 I believe there IS a way to run Mac OS on a PC... but you have to buy expensive software, and download some weird programs and have crazy computer skills... I think it's called "Hackintosh"If you want to run both side by side... I don't think you can even do that on a mac. I know that you can run Windows on mac by running Boot Camp, but I don't know if you can be running both windows and Mac OS X at the same time on the same screen.

4 If you want to do this on PC hardware, you need to look into Hackintosh: lmgtfy.com/?q=hackintoshAs baba said, it's complicated, only works on certain hardware, and is prone to a lot of problems. If you have a Mac, you can run Windows in Boot Camp and it is very easy and smooth to setup. You've never seen Windows run as well as it does on a Mac.

You can also run the two side-by-side on the same hardware with software like Parallels and VMWare fusion. You boot up into Mac OS X and then you can run Windows apps right along with your OS X apps with no problems. They share files, printers, network connections, etc.Very easy to do.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
