First of all, not all birds get along. Some do, some don't. You said you've had her sense she was a baby.
That means she is already used to her environment and her territory. Her territory = her cage. So all of a sudden putting a male cockatiel in her cage will cause her to feel protective.
Well, you've said she already is noisy. Adding another cockatiel, especially a vocal male, will only increase her chances of being noisier! Two birds usually end up chattering to each other most of the day.
Another thing to keep in mind, is that keeping a male in her cage will make it harder to tame the male, and you will have to be open to the idea of having baby birds soon. All in all, you've had her eight months, and I think you should just keep her and not get another bird. If you do however want another bird, putting him in another cage would be fine.
But your female bird would probably still be noisier. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
