Can I re-apply for Financial Aid after dropping out of college if I wanted to go back?

I recently dropped out of college to go to Cosmetology school. I had received a Pell Grant for College and wanted to know if I could get one for Beauty school even though I had dropped out of college. The easy answer... you can. However, there are policies in place to keep people from doing exactly what you did and benefitting from the grant and loan system. However, if you're in the same semester that you dropped out of school, then you probably won't be able to get anything this year.

I believe, if you do not finish a semester or get passing grades for a semseter, you have to do a semester on your own before you'll qualify for student aid again. You may still be able to get loans for the semseter, if you qualify, but probably not a grant. Which just means you have to invest your own money in your future - be careful though - loans means that you *WILL* pay them back, unlike grants.

And the government never stops coming after you for the loan repayment in case you think you can walk away from them. Go to the financial aid office of the school you plan on attending. They will be able to give you accurate info. However, I don't see why not..

2 As for as I can find out, you can re apply. The beauty school has to be degree granting program. You can't use pell grants at more than one school at a time, but I can't find anything that says you cannot have more than one pell grant.

A beauty school awards a diploma not a degree so it is a Trade School.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
