I am wondering the same thing about my step children, who lives with me and their father. Their mother OD on meth and had a stroke, and now she is partially paralyzed on the left side. Court ordered her $50 child support because she is claiming she only gets $400 a month.

I think she is claiming the kids as living with her. How would my fiance' find out if she is, and also, someone told me that my fiance' (the childrens custodial parent) can just go to SS office and apply for his children to get benefits off her disability. She just moved into her own place, real nice apts, she drives, the children are 3,5,7 and 9 and shes been chasing after them every other weekend and then some for the past two years.

I say she can work, she walks with a limp but I have seen way more disabled people working at McDonalds and Wal-Mart, etc etc. Oh, and she still does meth and parties. I just don't agree with her living for free, free from all responsibilities and not being held accountable for anything--her (my) 4 children, and lets not forget the 5th kid she has with a different father that is 10 and she has dumped off on everyone his whole life.
