Can I trade in my old xbox elite for a new one?

If you have the time, take it to a local game stop or disc replay and see what they can do. It will obviously be less money then if it was working properly, but i'd imagine you get something, as they would just send it in for refurbishment. Don't always take the first offer you get, take it to a couple different places then decide.

You could try calling ahead of time for a quote over the phone, but they may not give an accurate since they haven't seen the console yet. If you maintain your console fine, there shouldn't be issues with it. I got my first xbox one 1TB version this past summer and it works great.

And don't listen to all the fanboys claiming which console is better. It all comes down to which games you want to play. You can't play halo on a ps4, and you can't play uncharted on a xbox.

But games like assassin's creed, call of duty, battlefield, madden nfl, gta v, mirror's edge, and others will always be on both systems.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
