Yes, you can do it by creating a Partition in your hard disk. Most branded PC vendors (HP, IBM, etc) will create a small partition in drive C when shipping, the small partition to store the necessary files for Windows OS system recovery when your Windows is unable to boot-up, like damages by the virus. To do this, there will be 2 part of the jobs.
First part is create the partition, second part is create the backup image and store it into the partition. First Part : to create a partition, you need the software. The most famous is Symantec Partition Magic. It can create, delete, resize, merge, manage partition in your hard disk without affecting your existing data (but I highly recommend you back up important data before you do so).
The bad things is: it cost you $70. Well, to go for the FREE software, you can try Partition Wizard Home Edition 4.1 (eofsoft.com/) which can do the almost the same thing without cost. Second Part : create back up image and store into your newly created partition.
I highly recommend using Ghost to do the job, it can back up your whole disk / selected folders to become a single image file. Symantec Ghost 14 cost $70 too, but older version of Norton Ghost can be downloaded with zero cost (just google it), eventually work the same thing for you. Lastly, when you need to recover your main partition, jusr run the Ghost and select the image file from the backup partition, then whoola~ done.
I also put a video link for you as a reference.
Yes you can make partitions on the external HDD. You can make partitions using Windows Disk Management. RightClick on My Comp > Manage > Disk Management Also you can use great backup software Acronis True Image to make automatic backups.
This is possible, you will need to partition that space of course. If you need instructions on how to partition a hard drive. Go here.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
