Can I use the same introduction text for a series of related hub pages I am planning to write?

Not only would it be a silly thing to do, you might trip the duplicate content filter and have your scores penalized. Re-using text is never beneficial.

You can do it that way but the search engines would be better served if you created a unique first paragraph and then added your "same introduction" as a second paragraph. That way they will be introduced in the same way but unique for the search engines and when people are checking them out in HubPages.

Generally its not a good idea to have duplicate content.

1. There will be duplicate flag and hubpages will not let you put an affiliate link/any commercial link.

2. Your duplicate content will only put as supplement and not really indexed by google.

Yes. It is a good Idea to put them in a group, and vary the titles.

Thank you both for responding, that's really helpful - I especially didn't think about the duplicate filter.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
