I suggested they looked in other frequencies of EM radiation many years ago on the Taps forum when it was being discussed. The result was the 'full spectrum camera' which combined the results of near infre-red with the lower frequencies of ultraviolet and visible light. This has now been accepted in the paranormal field.
My theory is that spirit energy is not in one frequency. If you look for a human you will only see one in visible (to us) light, and quite a lot in infra-red - but nothing else. Spirit energy is more spread out than this, and thus shows a little in nearly ALL frequencies.
Thus it will be a 'mist' in UV, IR, Visible, Beta, alpha and gamma frequencies, as well as the magnetic field. As they emit ionising radiation, they attract dust - thus you can see the dust in a shape. When passing through objects, the energy field passes, but the dust remains or avoids the object.
I have seen this myself as the dust shape is slow to form when entering a room (as it takes a while to ionise the particles and attract enough to make it visible), but it can pass directly into an object (leaving the dust). So far I have not seen this theory disproven.
Since we really do not know what the phenomena we CALL "Paranormal" really is, it might indeed Be possible. "Paranormal" is what we call NATURAL Phenomena that our present day Science cannot explain or has not discovered YET. (especially if it has a superstition associated with it) It indeed COULD have ultraviolet and infra red elements, as well as various electromagnetic ones.
They may really be some sort of unexplained Atmospheric phenomena involving ionized air, temperature inversions, etc. or Something related to the Earth electromagnetics like "Earthquake lights" which have only recently been explained and are no longer "Paranormal"---WE do not know EVERYTHING you know. More complex "Paranormals" may involve "higher order physics" where we would get involved with Space time anomalies and even intersections of "parallel universes"--Which may very closely mimic Superstitious aspects associated with "paranormality". In THESE cases we have no idea of what kinds of energies--Electromagnetics, Light, etc. may be stirred up, either directly by the phenomena or in its "wake" as it cuts through our own reality.
Light and electromagnetics are often associated with "unknown" phenomena, so it would make sense to monitor for ANY changes in the environment in an effort to solve these mysteries and gather clues to the true nature of those things we do not understand YET. -----So a "Full spectrum" (Actually a WIDE spectrum light) Camera would be a good tool to detect unknowns in ranges beyond our Vision. --Provided said phenomena produces energies in those ranges.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
