Can one good hub be successful by relying on search engines alone?

Of course. My personal record for views on a single Hub in a single day from search engine traffic was over 20,000 pageviews. (That's a seasonal Hub at the peak of its season).

I have started not long ago but it seems like I am getting less than 10 views per day from SE daily. I would think it is cool since I am relatively new (just a few weeks old at HP). Looking for more and better ways to improve further thou.

I am sure hubs with really good quality can hit ten of thousands of hits especially for seanson, celebration, and festive seasons :).

I've only been on HubPages for roughly two months. My best Hub, which was a seasonal Hub, received between 200 - 350 unique daily visits via Google and other search engine traffic for the week leading up to the Holiday. To this point, my better performing Hubs (roughly 4 out of 63) are receiving 25 - 75 organic search views daily.

The remaining Hubs usually receive roughly 1 - 10 unique search engine page views each day with, on average, 25 Hubs out of the 63, not receiving any page views on a daily basis. Clearly, there's much room for improvement. However, I will say that, to this point, the unique search engine views that I have received are, in large part, due to the power of the HubPages network.

I've started other sites with content written to a similar degree that simply don't rank as strongly or nearly as quickly as a Hub!

The fact that hubs are powered by such a powerful network is what allows a certain number of views. I would suspect a successful hub could receive anywhere from 500 views to 2000+ a day from search engines such as google, yahoo, ask, etc...

Search engines are what drive traffic to your hub. So yes one good hub can be successful by relying on only search engines. I just started I get a little traffic from yahoo google bing and stumbleupon.

Although most traffic comes from hubpages. Keep linking your other related hubs to your one good hub and it will help everything overall. That is important to keep it updated, and keep up with comments.

Then it will rise even more. I got 16 views today from the big 3 well four not including hubpages. I am new still however.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
