Can Oracle Text be used to index and search XML stored in CLOBs? How can we get started?

Versions of Oracle Text before Oracle8i Release 2 (8.1.6) only allowed tag-based searching. The current version allows for XML structure and attribute based searching. There is documentation on how to have the index built and the SQL usage in the Oracle Text documentation.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
