Can Orthodox Jews work in places that serve non-kosher foods?

Others have already explained why this won't work on Shabbat, but I think it's a great idea during the week. Many shuls have classes for children and adults on Sundays, so you could sell kosher goods then. During the week, Jewish schools are packed with hungry kids.

I love hummus and falafel! You're making me hungry!

Orthodox Jews don't buy anything on the Shabbos in fact we don't carry money or credit or debit cards on the Shabbos. After the Shabbos morning prayers I go home and eat the meal I have ready prepared. As to whether I would buy from you on another day, well if your establishment had the approval of an Orthodox Rabbi then maybe I would buy from you but in order to get such approval you would have to close on Shabbos.

If you didn't have approval then no I would not buy from you. Kooky Jane I just read your additional details and you sound really keen on this idea;I wish you all the best with it and I would be quite interested to try a piece of your vegan cake.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
