Your generation is where you spent most of your formative years as a teen i.e. 'Happy Days' is about kids of the 1950's generation, 'That '70's Show' is obviously about kids of the 1970's generation Some might call you the '00' (double zeros - not good). Some would refer to your generation as Generation 'Z'.
Some would refer to you as Generation 'i' (as in information age), and some might say we're all part of Gen I Regardless, what is in the media now for your generation is NOT what you'll remember. For example, disco was HUGE in the media in the 1970's. Nobody I hung out with then listened to it, and nobody I know now remembers it Edit: the music I and most of my friends did listen to was often from the 1960's i.e.
The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, etc. , (and now I love the 1990's grunge music) so I think we've had the same generational conflict.
I was born in 1990 and while I got to experience some things like the Spice Girls and Boy bands craze, Tamogatchis, Furbies, All That and Are You Afraid Of The Dark, and Bill Clinton beating bob Dole in 96, I never got to experience the good music of the 90's like Nirvana and Sublime, and the grunge culture. ^ story :) God tamagotchis were huge when I was a kid, they were the cell phones of the 90s XD.
Who gives a fuc*?! You were born in the 90s BIG deal whats so special about it? Stop wasting your time thinking how great it was in the 90s and think how the future will be.
Do you think ' Arnold' can beat a nuclear driven flying automobile? I don't think so! What about playstation 1 vs. Playstation 143?
I don't think so! And robot girls vs. std infested girls? I don't think so!
Ohh I cant wait for the 2090!
Yes, if you were a kid in the 1990s you are considered a 90s kid. In my opinion if you were born after 1995, then you wouldn't really be a 1990s kid.
I kind of agree, I was born in 1993. But I rememeber all those things you mentioned (esp. Nirvana and All That) only because my brother is 5 years older than me and he showed me all these things.
I was born on 1994. I do remember other things from the 90's. Well I think I am a 90's kid.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
