When they look at your record and see the DUI, that is a big thing. It might get you jail time. Probably not.

You both need lawyers. You don't want to go into this without a lawyer, the risk is too big. A judge has almost unlimited power and you need someone who is trained to talk to him.

Your argument is "they started it". I'm guessing your not a parent, but just believe me, no one wants to hear that argument. I'm sure judges here that all the time.

And I bet the other guys are saying you started it. Your lawyer will look at the evidence and will know much better then I do. But my guess is they will go with a plea bargain.

It's not a strong case, so my guess is your lawyer will make you a deal that includes no jail time. Just do what your lawyer says and get through this. And next time you'll know to do more to avoid the fight.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
