Can someone give me a step-by-step method to add Amazon to my hub?

Brigitte - the method I prefer is to specifically choose products. So go into edit mode for your hub and open your amazon capsule - click choose specific products.

Then in another window open up amazon. Com and search for a product you think will work well with your hub. When you find one you like copy the url of the amazon page (which is in the address bar at the top of your screen).

Paste the url into your amazon capsule. If you want more products, continue with the same process until you have as many as you want. Click save.

You should now see the products you have chosen in your amazon capsule.

If you want to move the capsule click on the up arrow, until it's where you want it. If you want the capsule on the right of a text box click the right arrow.

I do have one more silly question though. Now that I have the Amazon links there, how does Amazon know to credit ME with any impending sale? I understand how affiliate links work, but I haven't joined an Amazon affiliate program?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
