Can U TELL ME A LITTLE abt general daily life in HOUSTON,QUALITY OF LIFE & things 2 do in Houston?

You are practically in our neighborhood if you are anywhere near Westlake Park Blvd! That is south of Interstate 10 and we are north of I-10 in a subdivision near Barker Cypress and Clay Road. Houston is a great city with very low costs for homes as compared to most of the rest of America. Depending upon how long you are going to stay here, you might actually be better off purchasing a place instead of renting.

We have a Realtor that is very good and who has helped us for years with locating homes for us, my mother and my brother. She could also assist you with renting if that is your preference. She knows the area well and knows the trends.

There is much to do and see in Houston no matter the budget. We have great venues for symphony, ballet, opera, theatre, museums, parks, etc. The next hub that I am working on right now will be about a great park...Hermann Park...near the Texas Medical Center, Rice University and the south end of Downtown. Since Houston is the 4th largest city in the nation...we have something for everyone.

Shopping is supurb. We have a number of universities. Of course the Medical Center is fantastic.

The weather is starting to moderate. The worst time of year is our summers when it is just plain hot and humid. Today the temperature will be 94 but it will be getting cooler as the year progresses.

It is a diverse city with people of many cultures living here which is nice. The job market in Texas is better than many of the other States.30 minutes driving time would take you all the way downtown during non peak driving times and many other places around the city as well. Let me know if you need more information or want a good Realtor's name and number to help you with your relocation.

We love Houston! Hope that you will like it equally as well.

The weather is just starting to get nice.... Galleria is fun, Stafford/Sugarland is great for some people to live, Spring cute, but busy, Clearlake, Firendswood is presently wonderful...Try Tapioca Tea shops, California Pizza Kitchen, Hard rock, Aquarium etc.... Down town farmers markets, museums, zoo, for wild younger crowds, clubs, Huka bars, etc.... Its endless....

The same life to other people. You have to work in order to live and eat.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
