Aussies once again proved that they are bound to do those things that they are determined to. Till about a few months ago, Australia were not quite serious about T20 cricket. They have never won a game against Zimbabwe even in the practice games, but Michael Clarke had said that they will look to clinch the only title that they are deprived of.
Indian bowling was too shabby, despite the frist over being a maiden. Warner, Watson and David Hussey literally smacked each ball out of the ground. Ravindra Jadeja conceded 6 sixes in 6 consecutive bowls.
However, Indians recovered well in the last 4 overs to concede just 23 runs. Indians never looked comfortable against the quality Australian pace attack. They bowled fast and accurate.
Indians also got impatient when they found runs hard to come and thus poor shot selection. However, Rohit Sharma stood tall against all odds and scored an unbeaten 79 hitting 6 sixes. Only 2 batsmen managed a score in double digits.
However, Indians scored at 15 runs per over in the last 5 overs that they played-- all credit to Rohit. Again, what I feel is the need to have a genuinely fast bowler who can consistently bowl above 140kmph accurately. Also, though Bhajji conceded just 15 runs in his 4 overs, Dhoni was relying too much on spin.
Jadeja has been severely exposed. He can neither bat, nor is he a frontline spinner. Even a certain Piyush Chawla can score boundaries at will and contribute with the ball.
Nehra bowled well. The pitch was on the faster side and Australia had already played a match on this ground whereas, it was India's first match on this ground. I guess, it won't take any more time to get used to the conditions and win matches from here on.
Indians were in a hurry to attend the party after, next Aussies will bury the Lankans even deep. Indians lack a fast bowler who can steam roll through the opposition. Zaheer Khan is not real.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
