Yes, using the XMLReader and XMLFilter APIs. See this question and answer for an example.

We can Read or Write xml using SAX parser. To edit or update we need to use DOM parser only.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
