Can we use, for example, CD/DVD or USB pen drive or external hard disk or memory card with the iPad?

The iPad comes in 16, 32 & 64 gb. Currently there is not a way to expand the storage using a physical drive of some sort. With the camera connector kit you can hook up different USB devices or SD memory cards.

The only catch is you can not write to the device you can only pull from it. If you get the mobile me membership you will have iDisk that has 20 gb of online storage.

You can connect a USB flash drive using the camera connection kit and browse its content using iFile (from Cydia, must have file browser).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
