No, you cannot. Federal law doesn't make any exemptions to the minimum age for purchasing a handgun - not even for service members.
We need the firearms magazine and online review and promotion sites to tell those in the industry – “Get on board, or we will no longer review your products.” At least, print mag publishers should tell them “Your firearms will never again be featured on the covers of our magazines unless you get with the program.” This exposure is worth millions of dollars to them – why not threaten to cut it off?
There’s a tipping point somewhere at which it will be less expensive for them to get on the list. Also, print and online sources can (and should) stop accepting advertising from manufacturers who aren’t in the fight on our side. We won’t buy their guns, we don’t want to see their ads.
Personally, I purchase one or two fireams mags a month, not always the same ones. I purchase them to read about things that interest me, including new firearms. My eyes already glaze over when I come to articles about Rugers (Bill Ruger supported magazine-capacity restrictions back in the day) and Glocks (simply no interest in them).
From now on, if I see enough magazine content devoted to firearms manufacturers who are not on this list, I will not buy the magazine because I will never buy another firearm from any manufacturer who doesn’t get on board. If there are enough firearms enthusiasts out there thinking the same way, this could hurt magazine sales. Who wants to read about firearms one has sworn never to buy when there will be other manufacturers out there who will have earned my business by standing up for my rights?
If you agree with this, contact your favorite gun mag and tell them to 1.) stop covering firearms by manufacturers not on the list, 2.) stop doing cover stories about firearms from those manufacturers, and/or 3.) stop accepting advertising from them. Also tell them you will stop buying their magazines if too much of their content is devoted to these manufacturers. Let them know you have no interest in firearms manufactured by them.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
