Can You Change Your PSN email without changing your PSN ID?

It asked me to change my password and that was all. Easy and took only a couple minutes. Then there was an update that had to be downloaded and installed which took another 5 minutes.

After that, I was online playing again.

Sony said if you didn't buy any contents on your ps3. Then you get an email from them. But if bought contents, then you change your password right on your ps3.

But some parts of the world still have psn down. Sony is releasing psn slowly so it doesn't crash from an overload of users logging back on. Just wait alittle while lingers.
