Can you get ringtones without 'subscribing?' Free or just a one time fee? Do I need internet access on my phone?

The Amazon kindle is the best e-book reader on the market. With 8 weeks battery life, connection to Amazon Prime, and a capacity to hold over 100,000 books, you will be excited. Get it now!

I'd just like to have a different tune, but I don't want to pay $10/ month. I'd probably keep it for a year. Anyplace you can do that for free or a nominal amount?

You betcha For one time ringtones, files, and wallpapers, I use this link: funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/uploadRi... This will ask you if you have internet access on your phone. If you do, you can check this and it will email you a link to visit with your phone to download the file directly to your phone. If you do not, you can have it send you a text/mms message with the file.

The first time I ever used the site, I had it text it to me and it went just fine. If you download the file because you have internet access, it will count against any internet plan data limit you have - that is, if you can download 1mb per month, and the ringtone is 1mb, you just used it all :) Most ringtones, though, are only a few hundred K. How do I get the ringtones to my phone?

I recently got a Motorola Razr, so I bought a 1gb flash card and a memory card reader (total cost - $25 from Amazon). This makes it a snap to transfer ringtones, mp3s, and even movies to be played on my phone. I use the program SUPER (erightsoft.com/SUPER.html) to convert .

Avi, .mpg. Or even . Flv files from You Tube to the .3gp format that my phone supports. It's very cool.

You don't need a contract you can just order one ringtone for it's price. Depending on the service you have. I have Verizon and they have a free program on my phone (if you have Get it now) So I just search through the songs and pay somewhere between 2-3 dollars for that one song and they won't charge me for the subscription.

There are also websites for your phone company just type in search engine for example Verizon ringtones. There should be a main site they own that sells them. Like mine would be vtext.com That's where I could also get ringtones.

Depends on your phone - mine is a Nokia 6201i and I can use any MP3 All it has to be is 15 seconds or less and I have to upload it to the phone through the cable or bluetooth. I use a program called Audacity to edit the song down to what I want and then upload it. Sources: My answer .

Download from various music web sites My husband downloads tones from websites, like limewire, and then he uses a software called MOTOROLA PHONE TOOLS, and then he drags it from his limewire folder into the phone folder. What carrier do you have? If you do have verizon, you have to unlock your phone.

Per my husband this is a very convaluted process and he does not recommend it. Sources: My husband's professional opinion .

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
