Can you imagine a way time travel would work so "killing your grandfather" paradox could be solved?

I think the answer is within multiple universes. Imagine time doesn´t really exist and all the pasts, presents and futures are existing at the very same moment. Jumping back in time would be an illusion as everything actually is and you won't go back on the same time line.

You would probably jump onto an parallel universe and you would change this. And it wouldn´t have any effect to the time line you came from. And so were no paradox.

Only ever go to the future and not the past...

If you ever saw futurama... you know you could become your own grandfather XD. The only way I see this could get solved is if your grandmother is already pregnant.

I personally think time travel only works going into the future by way of relativity (i.e. Shoot off at the speed of light and come back and you are in the future). To go back I would imagine that there would need to be multiple timelines or something similiar.

Much like Timecop : ).

It is not idea to look for tricks and put limitations on ourselves. A paradox is just an obstacle in our thinking. Let’s try it like this, if it is not possible to solve paradox in a linear or cyclical time, what other option do we have?

What if the time splits?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
