I want a more unique coldwater fish for my tank, not just an ordinary goldfish or the usual coldwater fish. I have done some research, some websites say betta fish are coldwater, some say they need a heated tank. Apparently, paradise fish are coldwater fish, but I just want to check.
I have a 2g tank. Please help! Thanks :) Asked by sv10 22 months ago Similar questions: betta fish paradise coldwater tank Pets > Fish.

Yes you can use either fish! You can use either fish in your small tank but like Mugsie said don't put cold water in let it get to room temperature. And by the way you cannot put two males of the betta together they will kill each other and if you put a female in the tank they will breed sooner or later.
The male also may kill the female if she is not ready to breed. The male builds a bubble nest and then squeezes the eggs out of the female. He then picks up all the eggs and places them in the bubbles and then he guards them until they hatch.
During this time he will kill the female if she is still present to protect the eggs. The female will eat the eggs if he doesn't protect them.
1 Betta fish are usually in just water, no heater and I don't think it matters how big the tank. Just don't do cold water, use room temperature water.

4 Coy fish are also cold water fish, look much like a gold fish but are NOT! They grow bigger and are more money but are much more hardier. I had a 40 gallon tank full of them :) .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
