For me it is the trend of metalic and irredescent materials and fabrics. I finally aquired a pair of platenum shoes I love. They are a low heel, with great cushioning, & are a type of year-round sandle -- comfy but tres elegant.

I was also able to get a new coat on sale late this summer for now which won't be very warm below 35F, but it is 5" above the knee & has a bronze irredescense. I have always been, as an artist, I guess -- and a seamstress who even designed clothes for myself, friends, & for a living in a sewing co-op -- a minor "fashionista." My grandmother, in rural Tennessee, whom I adored and was an artist herself, made all my clothes until I was about 12.

I was considered quite peculiar as a kid with my homemade clothes, but I was pround of them. I remember my mom buying me my first jeans, bellbottoms, and a storebough dress - an op-art shift, w/ white plastic gogo boots! I was hot!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
