Sting in WCW during the "nWo Era". Turning Sting heel was one of the biggest mistakes Bischoff did booking-wise. Rather than have a Superstar on the level of Hogan, Nash, and Hall, leading the opposition to the nWo "invasion" of WCW, they changed his gimmick (even though he was one of the most over wrestlers in the business), took him off TV for an entire year (on the surface, to get the new gimmick over and to set up some sort of showdown with Hollywood Hulk Hogan), but they screwed up Sting's return, and just decided to turn him heel and stick him in the nWo to get him out of the way.
The fans hated it and refused to accept Sting as a heel. They ended up just making a new "faction" of the nWo, a "face" faction (the red and black Wolfpac), and stuck Sting in that. As just a member, not the leader.
What should have been the leader in the opposition to the nWo "invasion" wound up being just another face in the sea of nWo members. Huge mistake.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
