Can you plug a 110 volt plug into a 220 volt?

You will need an adapter assuming you're going to a country that uses 220 instead of 110. Just make sure whatever you're plugging into the 220 V outlet can handle it.

"I have a UV filter light that is 220 volts. The plug on the end looks like a standard 110. "I plugged in a 110 V DVD into a 220 V outlet.

"220 Volt power tools. "I RAN A 220 VOLT ELECTRIC MOTOR ON A 110 VOLT LINE FOR 1 MIN. "air conditioner throws braker and the outlet is hot.

"Is it safe to plug in a Japan made small appliance that's 100 volts into US 110 volts outlet? Do I need a adapter?

No. You will blow the fuse/circuit breaker. And the AC will not work.

Its a different outlet, the 220 would fit into a 110,you'd need an adapter, not sure you'd like the results the AC unit if it runs at all on 110 , you'd be getting 50% power or less. Trekincat 55 months ago.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
