Can you recommend a good free program for HTML editing? Nothing fancy, just a decent editor?

Nothing fancy, just a decent editor. I had been using an old copy of FrontPage Express, but I suspect that it's infected. I have a copy of Dreamweaver somewhere, but I've never used it.

I don't want to use Word - it bloats code like crazy. Ideally I'd like to find something open-source and currently supported. I'm running Windows XP Pro, by the way.

If it matters, I do know HTML - but I don't want to hand-code tables. Asked by -%3EPeter 38 months ago Similar questions: recommend free program HTML editing fancy decent editor Computers > Internet.

Try Tucows.com I would suggest you try TuCows.com they have a wide array of them. I have not used any as I use a good inexpensive one I bought called Namo Web editor. I used it to make my website at PhotoTourAlaska.com and also the Visit-Alaska.info site.

I used to use Frontapage but I liked this one and it was not too pricey and does a great job. But I have gotten many things off Tucows for many years now. They are great.

I like then better than cnet.com or downloads.com (they both are the same) Hope this helps. Try out a few of the free ones and see which one suites your needs best. The reviews on Tucows are pretty good also.

I am a photographer not a computer programmer so I wanted one that gave me good results and was easy to use and allowed me to make a good looking site. Good Luck and have a great one. SeaMonkey, based on NetScape Composer/Navigator bundle seamonkey-project.org/ I am using it right now to browse with on an XP machine. It is free and open source. It works just like NetScape used to do.

Ctrl-w and then Ctrl-c will bring up an empty Composer window after you run SeaMonkey. It Pretty Easy To Use. Hope This Helps.

Is there a html editor with ready done html codes that I can just copy.

How do I get another program to be listed as a "HTML Editor" under the Programs tab under the Internet Options Prefs...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
