Can you sing if your friend who's a singer says I can but my mom says I can't?

If a person has a dream of being a singer they can pursue that dream no matter what other people say. If a person is under the age of 18 they may need to wait until they are legally old enough to make decisions for themselves.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
