Yes. This is common among my patients and occasionally we have to shave a patient's head so that lice no longer have anything to attach to, if you will. However, once you've taken care of linens, etc., you might want to see if there's a re-infestation before you get out the razor!
Hope this helps.
Great question. If you shave your head, do so in the bathroom and totally clean and disinfect that room thoroughly. As you mentioned, make sure to shampoo every one else's head in your home and clean all bedding, pillows, hats, combs, brushes, toys and so on.
If you shave, the lice will no longer have a host, but doing all the above will make sure you get rid of them for good and they just do not start living off other's heads in the home. You can shave all the boys heads in the home and even cut the ladies hair very short, if you so do wish. It will help get rid of them quicker or maybe I should say with more ease.
Shaving your head will indeed get the lice off of you.
.Shave my head bald" its ot good ideas. Keep personal hygiene is first change. Good luck.
Lice will not go away without proper treatment. That treat lice. To prepare for your appointment, see the topic Making the Most of Your Appointment.
Lice or their eggs (nits) on the hair. Also use a fine-toothed comb to help detect lice. He or she may need to look at the lice or eggs under a microscope to confirm the diagnosis.
Go away without proper treatment. Body or in clothing. The skin or scalp, and sometimes with a prescription pill.
That kill lice. Remove head lice and their eggs in addition to or instead of using medicine. This will usually kill adult lice and prevent eggs from hatching.
Lice are only present on the skin when they feed and will usually go away if you bathe daily and wear clean clothes. Day care after their first treatment. "No nits" policies are discouraged by medical experts.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
