Can you use a regular straight nose stud even though you got it pierced with a L shape stud?

You need to wait about 4 weeks before changing your jewelry even though you might not have any swelling or soreness that doesn't mean it isn't fully healed. It's okay to change it if the bar was too short you should have a longer bar to make room for swelling so you did the right think by changing it out but you need to continue cleaning it as your piercer instructed and wait the remainder of the 4 weeks before changing it again.
