Can you use Google Buzz with an @Google Apps domain?

Not yet. According to the official Google Blog: "We're rolling out Buzz to all Gmail accounts over the next few days, so if you don't see it in your account yet, check back soon. We also plan to make Google Buzz available to businesses and schools using Google Apps, with added features for sharing within organizations."

You know how it is, things take time to happen! Google has yet to release Chrome Extensions for Google Chrome Mac. I think it's more of a social than business feature.

Wonder if it can be integrated with Yammer or Blogtronix, and even thinking about how my site would benefit from it. It's a great, and Google's got you right where they wanted you, in the email. http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2010/02/introducing-google-buzz.html.

Here's how I (seemed to have) figured it out: I originally had a Gmail account (sm007hie) and ended up "deleting" the gmail portion of that account because I got my domain tied into Google Apps. Doing that basically made my domain acct the primary. Unfortunately, as most know, that also means that some cool things don't show up anymore.

I decided today to figure out if there was ANY way to tie my domain account back into a "personal" Gmail account again. I went to mail.google. Com and logged in my usual way: with my domain account.

However, doing that made Google come up and say "hey, you don't have a Gmail account! " It apparently remembered my previous account (sm007hie) because it wouldn't let me change the email name. So, I just went ahead with the setup and, like it should after I finished, Buzz came up.

But here's the interesting part... After clicking on the "Sweet! " button, it came up and said "logging onto riley@randrporter. Com"... but it loaded up my personal [email protected] account, with Buzz in tow!

I can (even within the same browser) go to my domain site and login with riley@randrporter. Com, where my domain email loads up just fine, then open another tab up, go to gmail.Com and it auto-logs me in (because it's the same account), but it's personal Gmail! So, as far as I can tell, I've unofficially tricked Google to let me play on both sides of the fence with ONE login!

Yes, I do essentially have two separate EMAIL accounts and I would have to go into the personal side to do Buzz, I'm still only having to use ONE login and therefore don't see this as a horrible thing. Anyone else want to give it a shot to see if my findings are a fact? I don't know if it's because I had an account from the past and my whole ordeal that I did (that I talked about in the beginning) is what made this possible, or if one can go create a brand new account on gmail.

Com with their GApps account and get the same results... Time will tell (as will Buzz replies)!

Google has been rolling out Buzz to all Gmail accounts. They also plan to make Google Buzz available to businesses and schools using Google Apps, with added features for sharing within organizations. It is not currently available for Google Apps Domains.

I am able to access it via mobile but not via my Google Apps email account. In order to configure twitter etc I had to add a Gmail account to my Google Account. I guess you could then forward all of the Buzz "emails" to your Apps Account?

Google Buzz initially launched to much fanfare but sadly the excitement has faded as issues over privacy, organisation and filtering have arisen. Google have corrected many of the privacy concerns, other features we lie in wait for. One of the most anticipated feature releases is Buzz for Google Apps, Google’s corporate webmail and PIM service.

Today it appears Google is rolling Buzz out to selected users. Not available on the fullemail client just yet, some users (including myself) now have Buzz available on the mobile version of Buzz. This is similar to the roll out of Buzz in Gmail, which saw it available on the iPhone before Gmail.com.

We can expect to see Buzz arrive in Google Apps email inboxes very soon. The URL of Google Buzz for your domain on your mobile m.google.com/app/buzz/a/YOURDOMAIN.com, on a standard browser (after a few tries) we believe you should find buzz appear at google.com/buzz/a/YOURDOMAIN.com. Although at the moment that redirects to a page not found url.

Strangely enough, although I can “buzz” away on my iPhone, I can’t seem to find my account via my standard gmail.com buzz account. I’ve even tried following myself but no luck, I’m well and truly hidden. This evening, at 7pm PST Time, we’ll see Google make a major announcement.

Whether this has something to do with it is possible but unlikely. We’ve been reliably informed Google has bigger news in store.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
