You have not set any value for year GET variable in the URL. If you need to send $(this).val() as the year do it like below code.
You have not set any value for "year" GET variable in the URL. If you need to send $(this).val() as the "year", do it like below code. $("#second").
Load('populate_section. Php', {"year": $(this).val()}).
Wonderful! Thanks @Manjula for this. – D-Lo Dec 6 '11 at 7:36 Using a mapping gives a POST method, not a GET (with jQuery 1.5.1).
One must provide a string to send the request as GET. The string must be of the format param1=v1¶m2=v2&... which can be obtained with the $("my_form-or-my-fields-selector").serialize(). – Stan Dec 22 '11 at 15:11.
Try this: $(function () { $("#first"). Change(function () { $("#second"). Load('populate_section.
Php', {year: $(this).val()}); }); }).
Thanks for the reply. Already tried this, but no luck. – D-Lo Dec 6 '11 at 7:29.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
