Canon 500D or Nikon D5000, which one is better?

Just like all other digital single-lens reflex cameras, the Canon EOS Rebel T1I (500D) and the Nikon D5000 both have their own pros and cons. Still, both models are considered two of the best entry-level DSLRs in the market today. Although both models are almost the same, many users prefer to use the Canon 500D due to various reasons.

First, the Canon 500D is much lighter and easier to hold. It weighs 16.9 oz while the Nikon D5000 weights 20 oz. Second, the LCD of the Canon 500D is also bigger at 3"" with 920,000 dots.

The Nikon D5000 only has a 2.7"" screen with 230,000 dots. In short, the Canon 500D's LCD is sharper and more colorful. Lastly, the Canon 500D can autofocus while capturing video using the Video option.

This can never be done using the Nikon D5000. Sources: http://www.digital-slr-guide.com/nikon-d5000-vs-canon-500d.html http://www.neutralday.com/nikon-d5000-vs-canon-eos-rebel-t1i-500d-best-of-the-entry-level-dslrs/ http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1258443.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
