Can't add FTP Site (Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter)?

You need to install the FTP Role Service. You can do this by modifying the Application Server role in Server Manager.

Very likely you've not enabled this under your installed Windows components. Fixing this is very easy. Go to your control panel and find the "Programs" page.

Click on "Turn Windows Features On/Off" and look for Internet Information Systems. Expanding that tab will probably result in an unchecked box for "FTP Server". Just check the box, let it install and you are all set!

1 2st problem I can see here - poster is setting up an FTP site. ;-) – JasonC Nov 17 at 23:28 1 This answer is for Server 2003. MarkM is correct for Server 2008 R2. – Driftpeasant Nov 17 at 23:30 Hadn't realized this changed with 2008, sorry about that.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
