You have a service name (XE), so the syntax must be.

You trying to connect through jdbc and database is on localhost. Try to use jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:XE instead. Also tnsnames.

Ora is nothing to do here as you use jdbc.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
