Put the old plugsback in and see if that solves the problem. I don't want to insult you in any way, but, are you sure that your replacement spark plugs are the right ones? Check out the link below, it gives step by step instructions and mentions to be sure the engine has cooled before removing the old plugs.Html.
The ROTOR isn't moving?! You mean when you crank the engine the rotor inside the distributor cap does not spin? That's bad, if true.
You somehow have stripped the drive gear on the distributor shaft. The car is going to have to be towed to a repair shop.
How could this happen. Everything was in good condition and the car ran earlier that day. I just changed the spark plugs and when the car didn't start I noticed after that the rotor no longer moved.. is it possible the rotor was blown and it needs a simple replacement?

It's pretty hard to make that stop from turning-- it's directly geared to camshaft. If the engine is cranking but the rotor isn't turning, it's time for real help.
The engine won't even crank. I just now found out the battery is dead so I am thinking that is the problem. I can't even turn on the radio or roll down the windows.
Yes I was talking about the rotor under the distributor cap. Jmpete1 8 months ago .
When I was done working on it for the night I made sure nothing was left on. Jmpete1 8 months ago .
It was the battery. I guess it was six years old and decided to go out! There wasn't enough power to start the rotor but it's running now!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
