Cat appears to be in pain when putting weight on his hind leg or legs. no wound is showing or any visible damage.. what could it be?

Trimming cats claws is a much more humane and cheaper way to go. Trimming cats claws is so easy too. I use regular old fingernail clippers and when my cats nails become sharp I trim them.

Come on Rachel C you know it is a mean and traumatic thing for the kitties to endure and it does not end for them after they get declawed. I understand they are in pain the rest of their life. What should happen if somehow they get stuck outside?

They have no means of protection from anything. Just the thought of this being done makes me cringe myself. I am also curious why declawing the cats is "not an option."

Why not? It is sad because you will probably be the same owner who will give the cats away when they poop outside their litterbox, because it hurts their little paws touching the litter and cover up their business.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
