Catch a “index out of range” exception of a QVector object?

Qt doesn't use exceptions, it just has asserts on out of range access. You will need to either switch to std::vector or implement your own wrapper around QVector which throws.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
