Wicked people can always change into good people. If they believe they can change.
I don't mean to be rude, but your question reminds me of a school of flying insects entering a pot-smoke cloud, then meandering in different directions all kooky-like. I think you'd benefit from a class or two in classical and/or linear logic. But, to your question: First, the way you phrased it at the beginning: as Socrates said, "First define your terms".
What exactly are you calling wicked vs. good? The way you phrased it at the end: yes, anyone can change *if they have the desire* and *if they do the work*. Changing yourself can be hard work.
Just ask anyone who's been through 12-step. --And yes, "badness" can effectively be in someone's nature, but they can still change if they have the desire and do the work. These two things are not mutually exclusive, and do not constitute an 'either/or' situation.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
