Chorus of this recent alternative rock song is just "in your eyes" being repeated. Any idea what it could be? Its sung by a man, and it sound adult alternative or alternative rock, or whatever, and the chorus is the backround singing "in your eyes"--I think that's what they're saying--over and over.

And the only part of a verse I remember is something like "we'll keep washing our hands". It's a love song, and I'm pretty sure its fairly recent (within at least the last 5 or 6 years) because I've heard it in movies recently. So it must have gotten a lot of mainstream attention, obviously.

Because we all know how loved that it..haha Rogue Wave is an indie rock band from Oakland, California, signed to Sub Pop, and headed by Zach Schwartz (a.k.a. Zach Rogue) who created the band after losing his job in the dot-com bust.

Their first album was Out of the Shadow which was released privately in 2003 and re-released in 2004. In the fall of 2004 they went on a national tour of the US They have been compared in the music press to The Shinscitation needed. Their second album Descended Like Vultures was released in October of 2005.

Rogue Wave is featured on the Stubbs: The Zombie Soundtrack performing a cover of Buddy Holly’s "Everyday". A live version of their Out of the Shadow track, "Every Moment", appeared on the soundtrack for the movie Napoleon Dynamite. However, the song didn’t appear in the movie itself.In addition, the song "Eyes" was featured in the Ryan Reynolds movie Just Friends and in two episodes of the NBC drama Heroes along with an episode of Friday Night Lights.

They also had their song "Kicking the heart out" on an episode of Weeds on Showtime. The Fox show The O.C.Has used "Publish My Love" (DLV), "California" (DLV), and "Interruptions" (10:1 EP) as well as included "Publish My Love" on The O.C. Mix 5, a collection of songs used in the show. The current band lineup consists of Zach Rogue (vocals, guitar), Pat Spurgeon (drums, samples, guitar, vocals), Gram Lebron (keyboards, guitar, drums, vocals) and Evan Farrell (bass, vocals).

Farrell replaced original bassist Sonya Westcott in the fall of 2004. Zach Rogue was previously a guitarist in the Bay Area band The Desoto Reds. Pat Spurgeon has played with bands Antenna, Stranded at the Drive In, Ramona the Pest, Brando, Steve Kowalski, Lessick, and has also released solo work as The Phantom Drummer.

Gram Lebron has been involved in the bands Long and Golden, Schrasj, Sad Like Crazy, Conundrum, Jessica Six, All Transistor and has also released solo work as Golden Gram. It might be "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel That song was on Gabriel's 1986 album So. However, I can't think of any lyrics in it that sound like "we'll keep washing our hands," so it might be another song. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
