Christians: is asking santa to give you proof of gods existance for christmas a way to debunk two myths at one?

First of all the universe is not hostile. It's not like it has a grudge against you and has sent a black hole your way because it's pissed off. This is the way things get created and destroyed around here and it's been that way before we were even created.

Human beings are giving out these labels "good" and "bad" as if this is a moral question. So what was the morality of the same processes before we were here? Was it morally bad to destroy the dinosaurs?

Yes, some things are good for our survival - water, air, food, etc. - other things are bad for our survival - the sun expiring, overheating earth, a large asteroid heading in our direction, etc. That is not a moral question but rather the machinery of the universe in motion. I'd say it was kind that we were given the brains to try and anticipate some of these things and figure out a way to survive. Secondly, if there is a God, we are in no position to judge God's morals.

We are a tiny blip with so little power that in the entire scheme of things we will not even be noticed. We are simply arrogant thinking we are powerful and have cornered the market in morality. But if there is a God, I would think he/she/it sets the rules.

Look, even people who read the Bible or any other scripture are assuming they are getting their rules from God. So are we really going to sit there on our rump, in front of our computer telling God he's not moral? Ha!

We will be gone before we know it and God will continue on. Protest all you want, but this is not exactly a democracy, nor are you being recruited to help in the development of this creation outside of bringing a little joy and love into our existence. Nor are you being recruited to be God's advisor on the activities of the universe.

Essentially, you are the one who is seeing duality, because that is what you have within you. So for you, yes there are two Gods. In reality, there is one energy that provides the life force behind all we see happening.

In a way, your premise doesn't need to be debunked because it hardly matters. Your philosophy is not going to have any effect on creation, it's merely a strange little sound coming from a microbe in its lightening fast existence.

Well, in the inner part of the kingdom of god is flooded and 14 millions just homeless. Yes, the law of nature cares nothing - it does its job. The world is a sad place as the minority is the rich and the greater majority is in chaos most of the time - and there amongst that disproportionate majority god lives.

And yes amongst the tiny minority Atheists live. The most powerful of the world have enjoyed the burning shows of the world - under their commands throughout human history. The world itself is never been perfect but there somewhere someone is crying, screaming, asking for help, asking for pardon, asking for mercy, and this list never ends.

And still you think there is God! Well, whether there is such a thing invisible, and unprovable, if the people in a suburb agree to live peacefully, they can make their lives beautiful. If the people in a town, ... in a city ... in a country ... in a region ... in the world ... No, not everyone wants peace.

The collective effort of these people, selfish, biased, confused, and egocentric is what we can see in the ruins - everyday ruins. Let alone the universe as we know only a little bit about it. As we cannot make peace of the world we know, what good trying to pounder on the peace of universe?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
