Of course I would still trust and love God. If I'm sick I know God would heal me. God is my family and He will never abandon me.
Who cares what people say about God as long as I know God and trust in Him. If I was held at gun point I would trust and love God because if I die I will end up in Heaven with God. All my relatives that die will be in Heaven waiting for me... no prob... In the end we will be with God and that's what I'm looking forward to.
The short answer is "yes." If I'm sick - been there, done that. Abandoned by friends and family - been there, done that.
I do not surround myself with non-believers, though I do have some non-believing friends. I've been on both ends of the gun barrel. I've lost my parents and other beloved relatives.
The U.S. Constitution is more, much more, than a mere piece of paper. And NO, it does not give us our rights - God has given those rights to us - the Constitution preserves them in our society. I hear you loud and clear about many who profess to be Christians, but they draw near to Him with their mouths, while their hearts are far from Him.
May God be praised and may Jesus Christ reign in our hearts - FOREVER.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
